Grades 3-5 2017 Contest Guidelines & Information

MARC Poster Contest Guidelines

(Grades 3-5 in Massachusetts)

Each entry should be submitted in response to ONE of the questions from the student’s grade level. Third graders should respond to a third grade question, fourth graders to a fourth grade question, etc.

(Questions may be found on the previous screen)

POSTERS may be submitted in two sizes:

  • SMALL posters do not exceed 11”x 17” and may be submitted by one to three children.
  • LARGE posters may exceed 11”x 17” and may be submitted by up to eight children.
  • ALL POSTERS must be accompanied by identifying information (below) and a descriptive paragraph.

Each entry MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WRITTEN ON IT:

1. Child's/children's FULL name(s) legibly printed

2. Teacher's name

3. School name, town, phone number

Helpful Hint: Create a pre-printed label that has the above info for each child, then affix after poster created.

PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK THIS. EVERY YEAR WE RECEIVE WONDERFUL ENTRIES THAT WE CANNOT IDENTIFY AS THEY HAVE NO NAME, SCHOOL, OR TOWN ON THEM!
